September BFOA Board
Meeting #1 –
Minutes 9/8/09
Meeting took place at South Plantation HS After General
Membership Meeting
Start: 8:00 pm Present: Taglienti, Epstein, Gazzano, Simpson,
Baker, Bowen, Davis, Sager, Craven

Issues: One
member were asked to appear in front of the board after the
September 8th, 2009 general membership meeting to
discuss their progress as officials in the BFOA.

Member Charles
Hunt was asked to meet with the Board after the general
membership meeting to discuss his test scores, membership,
FHSAA registration, meeting attendance and expectation for
the 2009 season. Hunt was presented with his evaluations
from the preseason as well as the Booking Commissioner
provided the board with various accounts of Mr. Hunt’s
issues with registration, with the FHSAA, East Coast
Football Officials Association and email communications. The
Board advised Charles to get his test scores turned in to
the Booking Commissioner or the issues squared away. He was
also suspended from his first assignment for missing
(unexcused absence) the 6/15 and 7/13 general membership
meetings. Once he gets all his information in to Sager, he
will then serve his one game suspension and then start
receiving sub-varsity contests.
