(not present) Was scheduled for 2 games and did not confirm with
his crew chief, nor did he show for the game. Emails and phone
calls were made and he did not answer either. Liese made a motion
that he is temporarily suspended until he can come before the
board and explain why he missed his assignments,
Davis
seconded, all in favor, motion passed. TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED
FROM GAME ASSIGNMENTS UNTIL HE CAN ADVISE HIS STATUS IN FRONT OF
THE BOARD.
Pete Walker:
(present) Pete admitted he made a mistake and it was his error. It
was a miscommunication or misunderstanding. Pete advised he needed
to change or update his contact information on the web site. He
did advise he showed up, but since his crew chief couldn’t get a
hold of him another official was assigned to the game. Motion was
made by Liese that there was a breakdown in communication and that
he needs to update his contact information on the web, if it
occurs again there will be consequences, seconded by Bowen, all in
favor, motion passed. WARNING – AND ADVISED TO UPDATE HIS
CONTACT INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE.
Bob (RJ) Liberti:
(present) RJ advised that he was found out late in the day that he
would be late due to an emergency, he called his referee’s cell
phone however, it was possibly too late because it was right
before the game. He also called another crew member to let the
crew chief know he would be late. He eventually showed up at the
second play of the second half. He was told that not only should
he call his crew chief but he should also call Tye Sager. Baker
made a motion to accept Liberti’s explanation and the board would
watch for any other incidents in the future, seconded by Bowen,
all in favor, motion passed. BOARD ACCEPTED LIBERTI’S
EXPLAINATION.
New Business:
