October (1st) BFOA Board Meeting – Minutes                                  10/5/09

Meeting took place at South Plantation HS

Start: 8:15 pm  Present: Taglienti, Epstein, Gazzano, Bowen, Baker, Davis, Sager, Craven              

Not Present: Davis,  Simpson, Winston

Lightning Delay Payment:  Simpson will send out payments this week. Any  private schools with lightning payments pending we will pay and attempt to get money out of those private school.

Evaluations: This week we or members of board need to evaluate member Charles Hunt and member Ralph Maresca.

Timers Coming Down to work on the Field: There was a lengthy discussion on who or when should a timer come out of the press box to work on the field in the event someone from the on field crew doesn’t show up. Sager is going to provide a list of those timers he uses on the field and any decisions were tabled to gather further information.

Recommendations Committee: Gazzano wanted to recognize and thank Chairman Collura and the entire Recommendations committee for their fine work in organizing putting together this years playoff crews. Thanks to Rich Collura, Greg Walker, Jim Wilson, Tom Winston, and Carl Lendinara.

Amendments: Simpson will be preparing Amendments for upcoming meetings.

Budget: Simpson will be preparing several proposed budgets with different dues for next year.

Games & Events: Sager advised that JV White Hat R.J. Liberti did not show up for a game this past week. He asked to have him suspended from assignments. Gazzano made a motion that the Board suspends R.J. Liberti for a week, second by Bowen, all in favor, motion passed.
