February BFOA Board Meeting – Minutes
2/25/08
Meeting took place at Guy Taglienti’s home
Start: 7:00 PM Present: Craven, Taglienti, Gazzano, Bowen, Tom
Winston, Guest Bill Hanlon, Not Present: Baker, Davis, Liese,
Sager, Getzoff
Two Bills:
John Craven presented two bills for the Treasurer; the first
was a bill from Honigs for Association of the Year patches,
$46.68. A motion was made to pay this bill by Larry Bowen,
seconded by Guy Taglienti, all were in favor, motion passed. The
second bill was a $75.00 donation to The American Cancer Society,
for Mark Rowell dad who lost his battle with cancer. A motion was
made by Larry Bowen, seconded by Guy Taglienti, all in favor,
motion passed.
Training:
Tom Winston presented his new and revised training schedule
and plan to the board. All liked the new ideas of more field work
and the new schedule. A motion was made by Guy Taglienti to
approve and move forward with the new Training program, Seconded
by Larry Bowen, all were in favor, motion passed. See the schedule

Strategic Plan for upcoming year:
Past President Roy Liese put together a Strategic Plan for the
organization to follow for the upcoming year however; he had a
last minute emergency come up and could not make the meeting so
this was tabled till the March meeting for Roy to explain it.
New Business:
President Craven will be sending out an email to our members
to determine who will be or will not be back with us next year.
